Natura Parc Mallorca Foundation
The Natura Parc Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife protection, biodiversity conservation, and environmental education in the Balearic Islands. With a track record of more than 25 years, our institution has established itself as a leader in the management of recovery centers and the promotion of respect for the natural environment.

Our History and Purpose
The origin of the Foundation dates back to the vocation of Antonio Mas Mir, who in 1953 began a deep connection with the animal world. With the support of his wife, Benita Capó Serra, they founded Natura Parc in 1998, a space dedicated to environmental education. In 2001, faced with the need to provide an institutional response to rescues and wildlife protection, the Natura Parc Foundation was born.
In recognition of his work, Antonio Mas received the Honorary Award for Police Merit in 2024, an award that honors a life of dedication to animal welfare and Balearic nature.
Areas of Action
The Foundation operates through multiple specialized departments that guarantee full coverage 365 days a year:
CEPAD
Specialized in abandoned domestic animals, managing thousands of yearly actions in cases of emergency, aggression, or seizures.
COFIB
Created in 2004 alongside the Balearic Government, providing 24-hour assistance to injured wildlife. It has treated more than 69,000 animals since its inception.
NATURA PARC
Space dedicated to the housing of exotic species from illegal trafficking or irresponsible ownership.
Rescue Center
A vast space of respect and learning where unrecoverable species live in semi-freedom.
Breeding Center
Controlled breeding of threatened species for long-term conservation projects.
Environmental Education
Annually receives thousands of students from more than 150 centers for workshops and environmental awareness.
Silvicultura
Cleaning of natural environments with the support of equines, a respectful and sustainable technique.
Wildlife Control
Specializes in technical and scientific management to guarantee the balance of Balearic ecosystems.
