Species conservation and reproduction

Breeding Center

What is the Breeding Center?

The Fundació Natura Parc Breeding Zone is a space dedicated to the reproduction and conservation of animal species, with special attention to those that are part of the natural heritage or are under conservation programs.

This department develops controlled breeding projects, always guaranteeing animal welfare and following scientific and veterinary criteria that allow for the maintenance of healthy and genetically diverse populations. These actions contribute to the conservation of biodiversity, the maintenance of species, and the support of animal protection programs.

The Breeding Zone also has an important educational and informative value, as it allows showing the public the importance of responsible reproduction and the preservation of species. Through this work, Fundació Natura Parc reinforces its commitment to the conservation of fauna and the protection of biodiversity in the Balearic Islands.
