At CEPAD, we rescue and collect domestic animals in situations of abandonment or vulnerability throughout the year. Thanks to our collaboration with public administrations and law enforcement, we ensure a protected environment for every animal, always operating within the legal framework of animal welfare and protection.
We offer a 24-hour animal collection service, 365 days a year. Our specialized team, the Abandoned Domestic Animal Collection Brigade (B.R.A.D.A), manages the rescue and intake of animals into our center using specialized techniques.
From Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00 and 15:00 to 17:00. Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00.
Closing: Sundays and public holidays CLOSED.
Appointment: Assistance is only available by prior appointment (phone 871 719 772). Volunteers can also request an appointment through this same number.
Our CEPAD program welcomes hundreds of animals every year. Discover the animals most urgently looking for a home on our island. Give a second life to your future best friend.
Figures that demonstrate the work of CEPAD:
We believe that animal protection is a shared responsibility. Through CEPAD, we establish strategic alliances with various town councils in Mallorca to comprehensively manage the welfare of domestic animals in their municipalities.
The work of the Natura Parc Foundation goes beyond Mallorca. On the island of Ibiza, we actively manage the collection, rescue, and protection service for lost or abandoned domestic animals in collaboration with local town councils, guaranteeing their welfare 24 hours a day.
We manage the protection center and animal rescue in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, ensuring responsible adoptions and animal welfare in the area.
We are responsible for the collection and veterinary care of domestic animals in the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu, offering them a safe shelter until a home is found for them.

Due to the high volume of information requests, please consult our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section before calling.
It is important to first consult the DOGS tab where you will find images and information for each dog housed at CEPAD along with their reference number. To reserve or come to meet a dog, please contact us (phone 871 719 772) to check if the animal is available. If an animal is marked as RESERVED, it means one or more people have already expressed interest in adopting it once the legal period ends. At the time of adoption, an identification microchip must be implanted, a passport issued, and a rabies vaccine administered. Additionally, the dog must be neutered/spayed at our center. Prices can be found in the RATES tab. Fees are paid at the time of adoption, and we will give you an appointment for the procedure (the animal must arrive fasting). For PPP (Potentially Dangerous Dogs), the corresponding license must be presented.
It is important to first consult the CATS tab where you will find images and information for each cat housed at CEPAD along with their reference number. Call 871 719 772 to check availability or to reserve. If the animal has adoption requests, it means people are already interested. Upon adopting a cat, an identification microchip will be implanted and a passport issued. Additionally, the cat must be neutered/spayed at our center. All fees are paid at the time of adoption (check the RATES tab), and we will give you an appointment for the procedure (the animal must arrive fasting).
Currently, there is a waiting list for people wishing to adopt horses, donkeys, jennies, and ponies. To adopt such an animal, an identification microchip must be implanted and a passport issued. Furthermore, the property where the animal will reside must be registered in the Registry of Livestock Farms (REGA). If you wish to join this list, please send an email to administracio@cepad.es specifying the type of animal you want along with your contact details (name and phone number).
If you find a lost animal, you must notify the LOCAL POLICE of the municipality where it was found. If necessary, they will contact our technicians to arrange for collection. CEPAD – Fundació Natura Parc CANNOT directly remove a lost animal without a prior request from the corresponding municipality.
If you are the owner of an animal housed at CEPAD: 1. Notify us at 871 719 772. 2. Go to the Town Hall of the municipality where it was found to pay the municipal fee and request collection authorization. Bring the animal’s passport. 3. For Potentially Dangerous Dogs (PPP), we will NOT release the dog without municipal authorization and a PPP ownership license. 4. Once you have all the documentation, make an appointment to collect the animal at CEPAD. We will check if the rabies vaccine is up to date; if not, we will vaccinate at the center. The owner is responsible for boarding and vaccination costs.
If you wish to surrender an animal, you must make an appointment at 871 719 772 to bring it to the center, PROVIDED WE HAVE SPACE TO HOUSE IT. The surrender fee is €250 (dogs and cats), and the owner must complete a surrender form and provide a photocopy of their ID (DNI).
