Rescue Center

What is the Rescue Center?

The rescue center is a vital department dedicated to protecting animals that have been victims of abandonment, abuse, illegal trafficking, or are at risk. Our mission is to take in and rehabilitate these animals, offering them a second chance through specialized care and constant veterinary attention.

If you find an injured animal, call the local authorities!

Our main tasks

Rescue and Rehabilitation:

We act in emergency and abuse situations, providing the necessary medical care for the physical and psychological recovery of the rescued animals.

Reintroduction and Sanctuary

Whenever possible, we work on reintroducing animals back into their natural habitat. For those who are non-recoverable, we provide a safe and suitable lifelong home in our facilities.

Institutional Collaboration

We coordinate efforts with local authorities, law enforcement, and animal protection organizations to ensure a swift and effective response in animal rescue and custody.

Impact and Awareness

Every year, we receive more than 1,000 animals. Since most of them cannot be returned to the wild, they are transferred to Natura Parc, where they fulfill a crucial role: serving as ambassadors for their species to raise social awareness and educate the public.
