The wildlife hospital of the Balearic Islands

Rescue Center

What is the Rescue Center?

We manage the Wildlife Recovery Consortium of the Balearic Islands (COFIB), attending to nearly 95% of the wild animals that need assistance in the archipelago. Our center is a specialized hospital where we receive injured or sick animals, as well as those that have hatched outside of their natural environment.

If you find an injured animal, call 112!

Our main tasks

Introducing an apex predator into the environment generates an immediate and lasting flight response in problematic flocks, offering unique advantages for safety and the environment.

24h Clinical Care

Reception and stabilization of wildlife (birds of prey, sea turtles, small mammals).

Rehabilitation

Physical recovery and muscle-building processes to ensure that the animal can fend for itself.

Release and Return

The final goal of each rescue is to return the specimen to its natural habitat in optimal conditions.
