We work so that wildlife and people coexist in balance in the Balearics

At Fundació Natura Parc, our mission is clear: to care for and protect the biodiversity of the Balearic Islands. We are dedicated to the conservation of native fauna and flora, rescuing, rehabilitating, and returning local species to their natural habitat. We manage nearly 95% of the wildlife that needs care on the islands, in collaboration with the Balearic Government.

We rescue, care for, and look for a new home

At the heart of Fundació Natura Parc, CEPAD is the shelter where care and respect meet. We work every day on the intake and recovery of domestic animals waiting for a new home. Our mission is to guarantee their well-being and promote supportive adoption, connecting furry companions with responsible families who wish to change a life.

Adoption of Dogs and Cats in Mallorca

Our CEPAD program welcomes hundreds of animals every year. Discover the animals that are most urgently looking for a home on our island. Give a second life to your future best friend.

What do we do?

We are a leading entity in the protection of biodiversity and animal welfare in the Balearic Islands. Through specialized departments such as COFIB, CEPAD, and our Silviculture area, we manage the rescue of wildlife, the protection of domestic animals, and the conservation of ecosystems through European projects such as Aquila a-LIFE.

Our History

What began as a family dream of Mr. Antonio Mas Mir and Mrs. Benita Capó Serra, based on a love for nature, is today a professional organization of reference. Currently directed by Mr. Mariano Mas Capó, we have a multidisciplinary team of more than 80 professionals (veterinarians, biologists, foresters, and educators) dedicated to giving back hope to the fauna of our islands.

How do we do it?

Fundació Natura Parc is in constant motion, acquiring new projects together with different entities within the Balearic Islands. The organization by departments enhances an effective work methodology for these projects and new proposals. Likewise, in addition to the fulfillment of the objectives of each department, interdepartmental work is developed, through which the Foundation ensures success in each of its proposals.
